STAR PROGRAM

This program is designed to take the dancer to a higher level and motivates those young students who want more than weekly dance classes.  These young dancers will become junior members of our competition team and compete with other dancers at the regional level.  Most of the competitions that we attend, have a system of adjudication for both recreational and primary level dancers.  This means they are judged on the number of years of experience, not necessarily their age level, and multiple placement trophies are awarded. 

Our Star Program has three levels of membership.  The Shining Stars . . The Rising Stars and the Teen Stars.  The star program includes extra classes, rehearsals, and performance costumes.  

How do I join?

By special invitation from your teacher or recommendation from one of our many helpful registration advisors.   The Star Program is open to any dancer who decide

to take their dance education one step further.

How are the classes different for Stars?

Elevated technique classes are offered in tap, jazz and ballet. Additional choreography and rehearsals are required throughout the year.

How many competitions do the Stars attend?

Two regional competitions in the Atlanta area.

Are there extra fees involved?

In addition to your monthly tuition…there is a star program fee of $650.00.  This pays for costumes, competition entry fees, accessories and recital fees.  There are no additional fees for extra rehearsals and choreography

Why should I be interested in this program?

This program gives dancers the opportunity to grow and strengthen their body with the skills necessary for success.  It is a rewarding experience for parents to see their child perform in two competitions, in addition to our yearly recital.

Each year during the first week of classes our annual Star parent’s meeting is held. During this time the parents meet with the director and the Show Troupe President to go over the details of this program.  We believe that communication with our parents and with the students is vital to the success of this program.  It is a remarkable opportunity for dancers wishing to enhance their dance education.
